When you arrive at the property, climb the 1km private road to our rural retreat. You’ll be charmed by the native forest and wildlife. Twenty-two acres are yours to explore and enjoy. Venture into the woods and experience a close encounter with the wildlife - kangaroos, goannas and exotic birds - or feed our friendly geese. Experience an open eucalyptus forest environment and celebrate its natural beauty See how we are preserving the rural character of the area and allowing guests to experience rural living in the attractive Sunshine Coast Our farm is certified Organic by the Australian Certified Organic accreditation body. Ask us about this journey Come and share our passion as stewards of the land; to share and grow our environmental knowledge and cultural understanding of the area See first hand how we created a small orchard of fruit trees which flower at different times of the year to help feed the native bees, butterflies and insects We are happy to share information about the 70 different plant species occurring within two vegetation types across the property. These include trees, palms, grass, sedge, herb and vine. Ask us about the native bush tucker on the property We have 10 beehives and throughout the year we harvest honey after the Ironbark and Box trees have flowered See how we protect the significant ecological values within the property, particularly fauna habitat and corridors Hear how we participate in a local Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) scheme to access fresh local produce of vegetables, fruit, milk and eggs.
