Well we have voted in big "BOB" Abbott. I'm sure hes the man who will herald us into a new age as a SUPER COUNCIL.

Will this mean high rise all over the coast and damn the environment like the Gold Coast has. Lets hope not. Long live big "BOB", he'll save us, I hope.

this is starting to sound like Bob the builder... a fad during the late 90's and early 00's but now just a distant memory

As a happy camper from Noosa 'Big Bob' has never run out of puff even when we needed him the most to represent us to the Premier of Queensland who bugged out the minute he forced the 'Super Council' on us.

Thing is he did not win indicating that maybe he did run out of puff! and if I recall correctly at that time Bob did not want to have anything to do with the rest of the Sunshine Coast.

Not sure what to make of all this council amalgamation? I think it's for the best. I goot say that we and alot of our freinds were very suprised that Bob Abbot won by so much. I guess time will tell!
