Event - Sunday 16th August at Buderim. come along for loads of fun...bollywood dance, audio visual show, authentic Indian food etc. Start 10am. Read on for more details... We are a newly registered and incorporated and a very inclusive association on the coast encouraged by the Department of Fair Trading. Our objective is to: 1) Help any immigrants, students and visitors settle in on the Coast for the first time. 2) Celebrate our festivities, share our culture and food with the community. As an inclusive association, we invite anyone from any cultural background, who has an interest in India, it's culture, food and anything else that might interest them about our rich and colourful heritage to come along and be a part of it here on the coast. Hence we are organising a major event on Sunday the 16/08/2009 at the Buderim State School " Hall For All" celebrating our 62nd Independence Day from 10am to 2pm. We will host live bollywood and traditional folk dances, pure vegetarian authentic Indian food and an opportunity to see Indians in their colourful Traditional costumes. We also invite all guests to come on stage and shake a leg on some catchy bollywood dance numbers. We would very much appreciate it if you could cover the event. Please find attached poster for the event. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me on 5443 2576 or on 0404 205 275. You are welcome to dress in Indian costumes and come. Thanking you, Shailendra Singh President The Sunshine Coast Indian Association www.sunshinecoastindian.org
